How to View Snapchat Story

If you are familiar with the Snapchat apps, you will know that Snapchat is more of a Social Media platform instead of Instant Messaging platform. This is due to the Story mode that they have in which you can share your snap in your timeline feed called ‘My Story’. However, unlike other social media platform such as Facebook, your snap will only stay in your Story for 24 hours only.




So you and also your friends can only view your Snapchat story for that duration only before it get deleted. So, how do you post your snap to your Story? Here are the simple steps to do that

Step 1
Take a snap – Video or pictures

Step 2
Tap the square icon below
You can set who see your story by going to the privacy settings and customize there.

Step 3
View your story by swiping left on the camera screen and tap ‘My Story’

You can share as many snaps as you want into your story but it can only be seen by your friends up until 24 hours only before it gets deleted or you can delete it yourself before the time expires. By snapping moments of your life within a 24 hour period, it helps to form a 24 hour story as the snap will appear chronologically in order.

How you can view Snapchat Story

Besides creating your story with Snapchat, you can also view other Snapchatter’s story. Here are the steps that you can do to view the story.

Step 1
Open your Snapchat apps. Swipe to the left and the stories screen will appear. It will show some general channel that have a story.

Step 2
If you want to view a friend’s snapchat story, type the Snapchatter’s name.

Step 3
Swipe left to browse other Stories available and swipe down to exit the story screen

Snapchat also have featured stories for you to view. Featured stories are in the ‘Live’ section of the stories screen. This is a live event that is being featured and can be seen almost real-time by any snapchatters around the world.
