How to Recover Forgotten Instagram Password (With or Without Email)

If you could not remember your Instagram password, probably the best is by resetting your password to a new one.

Here are the steps on how you can reset your Instagram password

Open a website browser. Go to https://www.instagram.com

Step 2

At Instagram.com, tap “Forgot Password” below the login form

Step 3

Type your Instagram username, email or phone number that is associated with your Instagram account

Step 4

Tap “Send Login Link”.

Step 5

A link will be sent to the email that you have registered under your Instagram account

Step 6

Open your email account and open the email from Instagram with the title heading “Reset Your Password.”

Step 7

Inside the email, there is going to be a link.

Click the “Reset Password” link

Step 8

Once you click at that link, it will bring you to a secure website by Instagram. Type the new password for your Instagram account

So, there you have it. You have reset your password, and you now can access your Instagram account using that new password that you have set.

HOW TO RECOVER FORGOTTEN INSTAGRAM PASSWORD WITHOUT EMAIL

However, what if you could not remember the email that you registered under your Instagram account. Alternatively, you could not even remember the password for your email account?

If you usually login into Instagram using Google Chrome autofill password, here are steps on how you can retrieve your Instagram password without using Email.

Step 1

Open Google Chrome. Type the URL “chrome://settings”

Step 2

In the Google Chrome settings, make sure you are log into your Google Chrome account

Step 3

Click “Passwords”

Step 4

The list of the website with the Autofill password function will be shown.

Scroll down and find the Instagram website where you normally login but forgot the password

Step 5

Tap the eye icon here to see the password

Step 6

A pop-up menu will be shown to ask for your windows login for security reason

Once you enter your windows login password, you can then see the password for the Instagram website login
