How You Can Use Snapchat Scissors

One of the interesting features of Snapchat is the Snapchat Scissors function but mostly unutilized is the Scissors function. You can do many interesting to your Snapchat post if you know how to use this Scissors function. Here we list down the top 3 things you can do with this function.

1. CUT UNWANTED OBJECT OUT

This only works with a still image captured via Snapchat. If you have snap an image but you want to remove and object, you can use the scissor function and erase that object. Here are the steps on how you can do just that.

Step 1
Snap a picture you want using Snapchat. After done, tap the scissors icon here

Step 2
Tap the “star” icon here

Step 3
Rub over the cursor unto the unwanted object

Step 4
The object will be gone. Post the image to your Snapchat

2. CHANGE THE COLOUR OF AN OBJECT

You can only change the color of images only that was taken via Snapchat. You can use this function to change the colour of your hair or also any object that was taken.

You can then choose from a palette of colour available in Snapchat and change the colour. Here are the simple steps on how you can do this.

Step 1
Snap an image using your Snapchat. Once done, tap the “Scissors” icon here

Step 2
Tap at the “Brush” icon here

Step 3
A colour palette will be shown. Choose the colour that you want

Step 4
Rub the object that you want to change the colour. Make sure to rub within the object’s border

3. REPLICATE AN OBJECT

The Snapchat scissors function can also be used to replicate an object in your Snapchat video that you have captured. One interesting thing is that everything that you can cut with Scissors will be available as stickers. This sticker can be later on use for your future Snap.

Here are the simple steps you can follow to replicate an object and make it into a sticker.

Step 1
Capture the video using your Snapchat

Once done recording, tap the scissors icon here

Step 3
Rub the object you want to replicate

Step 4
The object that you have rubbed will then become a sticker. You can then place the sticker anywhere in the video and later you can post it in your Snapchat story
