Tap “Next” to start choosing your legacy contact

Type in your friend’s name here

Your friend’s Facebook username will appear here. Tap to choose this contact as your legacy contact

Step 7

Facebook will send a message to your chosen legacy contact informing him or her that you have chosen him or her as the person to manage your Facebook account in case of your sudden demise. Tap “Send” to confirm
