How to hide likes and view counts on Instagram

Therefore, Instagram provided settings in your Instagram where you can hide the likes and view counts on your Instagram. This setting allows you not to see the likes and view counts on other people’s Instagram posts on your Instagram feed or your very own Instagram post. Here, we show you the steps by steps on how you can enable this setting.

WHY HIDE LIKES AND VIEW COUNTS ON INSTAGRAM

Here are some reasons why you should hide the likes and view counts on your Instagram:-

  1. PRIVACY REASONS – If you are one of those who does not like people to judge your post based on the likes and view counts on your post, you probably should hide the numbers for your peace of mind.

In your Instagram account, tap the three-line icon above

Step 2

A menu will pop up. Next, tap “Settings”

Step 3

 In Settings, tap at “Privacy” here

Step 4

At Privacy settings, tap at “Posts” here

Step 5

At “Posts” settings, enable the button at the “Hide Like and View Counts” here

Once this setting enabled, you will not see the likes and view counts on other people’s posts on your Instagram feed

HIDE LIKES AND VIEW COUNT ON YOUR POST

Step 1

At your Instagram feed, tap at your Instagram post here

Step 2

At your Instagram post, tap the three-dot icon above your post here

Step 3

 A pop-up menu will be shown. Tap at the “Hide like and view counts” here

Once this setting enabled, people will no longer see the likes and view counts on your Instagram post
