How to Leave a Pinterest Board

If you have been using Pinterest for a long time, you probably have joined several Pinterest boards by now. Pinterest Boards is a collection of pins from Pinterest users but pin in a shared Pinterest Board. It can be considered as a collaborative board as all the Pinterest users who joins the Board can see the pins collection by individual Pinterest users who pin to that Board.

However, there might be times when you want to leave a particular Pinterest board. Here are some of the probable reasons why a Pinterest user might want to go.

WHY LEAVE A PINTEREST BOARD

  1. No longer interested in the content – Each particular Pinterest would typically have a theme or specific topic. Be it in cooking recipes, gadgets, hobby and other issues. Once you joined a Board, you will be able to see the pins from that Board pop-up in your feed. However, if you are no longer interested in that topic or theme, you can opt to leave the Board.
  2. Accidently Joined – Sometimes, you will receive an invitation to a Board, and you decided to join out of curiosity. However, you then realised that the Board is not of interest to you based on the pins you see there. Luckily that Pinterest have that option of leaving that Board immediately.
  3. Inactive Board – There are some Pinterest Board that will be inactive due to the Pinterest users there no longer posting any pins to that Board. If that is the case, you can always leave that Board as join other active boards on Pinterest.

So, whatever the reasons that you have, here are the steps on how you can leave a Pinterest Board in four simple steps.

Go to your Profile in Pinterest, tap “Boards.”

Choose the Board that you want to leave

Tap “Leave Board”

How to exit a Pinterest Board

A pop-up menu will be shown. Tap “Leave” to confirm leaving the Board.

Once you leave the Board, you no longer able to post or see the Board’s pins.
