 If you an avid Instagram user, you probably have used the filter’s effect on your Instagram Story for a  couple of times. However, instead of using the default filter in Instagram, you can also search for a more variety of filters and effects. Here we are going to show you simple steps on how to search for filters on Instagram.

WHY SEARCH FILTERS ON INSTAGRAM?

  1. TO FIND TRENDING FILTERS – You probably noticed some of the trending filters being used in Instagram sometimes. If you are interested to use the same trending filters but do not want to ask your friends, you can always opt to search for the filters on Instagram
  2. FIND OUT SPECIFIC RELATED FILTERS FOR YOUR CONTENT – Sometimes, there is no correct filter to be used for your specific content. Therefore, you can always opt to search for the related filters that you can use for your content on Instagram.

 In your Instagram account, tap this icon above to start your Instagram Story

Step 2

At your record button, swipe to the right to find the magnifying glass icon below, tap at the magnifying glass icon

Step 3

 You can select the list of filters here

Step 4

 Or, you can use the search function above to search for specific filters. 

Just type in the keywords here

Step 5

Once you find your filter, tap “Try it” and it will appear in your Instagram Story as the filter
