How to Create Custom Story on Snapchat

Snapchat has several different types of story that you can post. You can post a Snapchat story where every one of your friends can see, or you can also post Snapchat Custom Story where your friends can participate with their own Snapchat story. You can also post a custom privacy story in which only selected friends can see your story. Here we are going to show you the step-by-step on how to create this Snapchat Custom Story.

TIPS ON CUSTOM STORY

  1. If you created a Snapchat Custom Story and no one a Snap to the Story within 24 hours, the custom story will disappear. As long as somebody is adding their Snap, the Custom Story will remain.
  2. If you are the creator of the Snapchat Custom Story, you are able to save the whole compilation of the Snap.
  3. The creator of the Snapchat Custom Story can also delete it. Once the creator deleted the story, the whole compilation of Snap will get deleted as well.

Step 1

In your Snapchat app, create your story by tapping the circle button and tap “Send To”

Step 2

In the “Send To” menu, tap the “+ New Story” above

Tap at “Custom Story (friends can post)”

Step 4

Select which of your Snapchat friends that are able to see and post to the Custom Story

Once selected, tap “Create Story”

Step 1

In your Snapchat profile, go to the Story you want to customise

Tap the three-dot icon there

Step 2

A pop-up menu will be shown

Tap at “Story Settings”

Step 3

At “My Story” settings, tap “Custom”

Step 4

Select the list of friends that you do not want them to see your Snapchat story there
