The good thing about Snapchat story is that it will only stays for around 24 hours before it disappears. However, there are some instances where you just uploaded a Snapchat story and feel that you need to delete it as there are some mistake in it. Or maybe you want to upload a better Snapchat story compared to the one you just posted.

Even though Snapchat story will disappear within 24 hours, it is good to know that you can always immediately delete a Snapchat story that you feel is not or embarrassing before any of your friends have the chance to see it.

Here are how you can delete a Snapchat story

Step 1

Open Snapchat. Tap you icon above

Step 2

Snapchat story that you posted will appear here. Tap to see which Snapchat Story that you wanted to delete

Step 3

At your Story, tap the three dots above

Step 4

Tap at the “Recycle Bin” icon that is shown below of your Snapchat Story

Step 5

Tap “Delete” to confirm that you want to delete your Snapchat Story. Please note that once your Snapchat story is deleted, you will not be able to retrieve back your Story.

However, if you can always save first the Snapchat Story before you delete it. Just tap the “Arrow Down” icon besides the “Recycle Bin” icon to save your Snapchat Story.

The Snapchat story will be saved into your Phone’s photo gallery.
