How to Find Snapchat Friends You Accidentally Removed

So, you just accidentally removed one of your Snapchat friends, and you wanted to add them back. However, there are differences between removed friends and blocked friends. If your friend has blocked you, the steps that we are showing here might not work. However, if you do accidentally remove them, you can use the method that we outlined here.

Removing a Snapchat friend will only remove them from your Snapchat friend’s list. It will not exclude you from their Snapchat friend’s list. So, they will not be aware that you have removed them until you want to add them back.

So, if you want to add back the friend that you accidentally removed, here are three ways how you can quickly add them back.

  • ADD BACK USING SNAPCHAT USERNAME

Step 1

Open Snapchat. Tap at the “Add Friends” icon above.

Step 2

Tap at the search bar for “Add Friends.”

Search for their Snapchat “Username” and not their display name.

This is important as you will not able to find the person you are looking for if you search for their display name or actual name.

Once you find them, tap add. The button will show “Added” if successful.

Open Snapchat. Tap at the “Add Friends” icon above

Step 2

Tap at the “Add Contacts”

Search for your friend’s name in your phone’s contact address book

Step 4

Tap “+Add” to add back your friend

  • ADD USING SNAPCODE

If you do not know their Snapchat username and you do not have them in your phone’s contact address book, another option is by adding them back using Snapcode.

However, if you do not have their Snapcode, you might need to search their Snapcode on their Facebook or their blog.

However, all this method will notify your friend that you added them back. So, you probably need to explain to them that you accidentally removed and not intended to avoid any bad feelings.
