If you are an avid user of Snapchat, you will notice the various icon that appears beside your friend’s snapchat list. It is one of the way Snapchat making your interaction with your friends more interesting. Some of the icons will only appear if you do specific activities with your friends in Snapchat. WHAT IS SNAPCHAT STREAK?

The Snapchat streak is represented by a blazing fire icon or also known as the fire streak. The fire streak means that you are on a continuous snap messaging with another person within 24 hours for at least two days in a row. The fire streak icon will show beside your friend’s name in your Snapchat friend’s list

HOW TO START A SNAPCHAT STREAK?

So, how can you start and get a snapchat streak? You can start by committing with your friends that you are going to snap each other continuously within 24 hours. You and your friends have to be committed to the streak, or else it would not work.

To start, send one snap or more (minimum one snap) and followed by a Snap reply from your friend within 24 hours and do it continuously for two days in a row

HOW TO MAINTAIN A SNAPCHAT STREAK?

However, if you are planning to have a Snapchat streak with your friends, you need to be fully committed to the streak. It would be best if you also reminded your friend on a daily basis to reply each time you send a snap to them.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE STREAK IS BROKEN?

If you or your friend did not send a snap within 24 hours, the Snapchat streak would break. The fire streak icon beside your friend’s list will also disappear. However, you can always start the Snapchat streak again by restarting the whole process again. You can begin to back the entire process by sending back a snap to your friend and have them reply back within 24 hours and continue to do so again for two days in a row.

There are many reasons that people do the Snapchat streak. Some of the reasons are maybe due to:-

3. To deepen a relationship – A friendship can never be measured quantitatively. However, with Snapchat streak you can at least measure the intensity of your friendship. By having your friends committed to sending daily snap on consecutive days, weeks or even months, you would know which of your friend’s values you more based on their commitment to maintaining the streak.
