How to Record Snapchat Without Hands

Step 1

In your iPhone, go to Settings

In Settings, go to “General” settings

In the General Settings, go to “Accessibility.”

In Accessibility, go to “AssistiveTouch.”

Enable the AssistiveTouch by tapping the button to the right

Step 6

In the AssistiveTouch, scroll down and tap “Create New Gesture.”

Step 7

Press the screen for 8 seconds maximum and tap save

Name your gesture and tap save to confirm

Open Snapchat

Your AssistiveTouch icon should be enabled. It is the grey circle that you will see on your iPhone screen. 

Tap the AssistiveTouch icon

Tap “Custom”

In Custom, choose the gesture that you saved previously

A circle will show up on your iPhone screen.

Drag the circle icon to the Snapchat record button. The circle will re-enact the save gesture to the Snapchat record button

You can now record the snap hands-free as the gesture will assist you in pushing the record button while you are creating the video for your Snapchat.
