How to Setup Restricted Mode on TikTok

TikTok has set the age limit of its users at 13 years old. However, still, at that tender age, there is some content in TikTok that might not be suitable and sometimes can be dangerous to your kids. So, in TikTok, you will have the option of turning on the Restricted Mode. Restricted Mode is a setting where you can set in any TikTok account that limits and prohibits certain content that is considered not appropriate for all audiences. Here we are going to show you how to turn on the Restricted Mode so that your kids will be able to use their TikTok account without seeing any disturbing and inappropriate content.

WHY TURN ON THE RESTRICTED MODE?

  1. PARENTAL CONTROL – As a parent, you might be worried if your kids seeing inappropriate content on  TikTok, So, instead of monitoring them constantly, you can just turn on the Restricted Mode so you have a piece of mind on your kidsTikTok account

Add a four-digit passcode to proceed

Step 7

Confirm your four-digit passcode and tap the arrow button to proceed
