How to Transfer Snapchat Memories to New Phone

One of the useful function in Snapchat is the Snapchat Memories. All of your Snap and Snapchat stories can be stored there for future use. It also serves as a library of your previous Snap whenever you want to view it on your account.

If you want to transfer your Snapchat Memories to a new phone, you need to back up your Snapchat Memories. This way, you can have offline files of your Snapchat stories and videos in your phone. Fortunately, Snapchat has provided the function of exporting your Snapchat Memories to your phone.

Open Snapchat and swipe up to open the Snapchat Memories section

In Snapchat Memories screen, choose which files you want to save to your new phone

If you want to save previous stories, tap “Stories”

Step 3

Tap the Stories album

Step 4

Choose stories that you want to save

Step 5

At the stories, tap the three-dot icon above

Step 6

A pop-up menu will be shown, tap “Export Snap”

Step 7

Tap “Save Video”

This will export the video from your Snapchat Memories to your new phone.

You can then open your phone’s photo gallery. The saved video will be listed there.
