TikTok is a popular app where you can post silly videos of you dancing or doing any trending moves and post it for the world to see. However, by exposing that video to the public, you are also exposed to many nasty comments that can come from some netizens. Therefore it is best sometimes to disable the comments on TikTok. There are many ways how you can limit the comments on TikTok so that it would be so negative.

HOW TO DISABLE COMMENTS ON A TIKTOK VIDEO POST

Step 1

In your TikTok account, choose the video post you want to disable the comment

Step 2

In that video, tap the three-dot icon at the right side of the screen

Step 3

A pop-up menu will be shown. Tap at “Privacy settings”

Step 4

At the Privacy settings, at “Allow comments”, swipe the button to the left to disable the comments for that particular video post

HOW TO DISABLE COMMENTS ON ALL TIKTOK VIDEO POST

Step 1

At your TikTok profile, tap the three-dot icon above to open the settings

Step 2

At the “Privacy and settings”, tap at “Privacy and safety”

Step 3

At the “Privacy and safety” settings, tap at “Who can comment on your videos”

Step 4

Tap at “No one” to disable the comments

HOW TO SET AUTO-FILTER COMMENTS ON TIKTOK

If you do not want to disable your comments, you can choose to auto-filter the comments instead. This way you can still see positive comments from people that view your video as well as avoid negative comments.

Here are the steps.

Step 1

At the Privacy and safety settings, tap at “Comment filters”

Step 2

At the comment filters, tap at “Add keywords” and add any keywords that act as filters for the comments

Some example of bad words for filtering is “ugly, stupid, etc.”
