In your TikTok account, tap “Me” icon below to go to your profile

Choose your video that you want to duet with

In the video, tap the three-dot icon there

Tap the “Duet” icon below

You will see a split screen at your TikTok camera.

The screen on the right is the video that you selected. The screen on the left is the one you are recording

Once you are done recording your duet, you can further edit or put special effect or sticker to your duet video

Put a description and hashtag to your duet video

Tap “Post” button below to proceed to post your duet video

If you found a video from TikTok user you want to duet, tap the share icon on the right

Step 2

The duet icon will appear below.

However, not all video will have a duet icon if the owner of the video does not want the video for a duet.

Tap the duet icon to proceed

Step 3

You will see a split screen at your TikTok camera. Tap the circle button to start recording your duet video

Step 4

You can further edit the duet video. Tap “Next” to proceed

Step 5

Put the title description and a hashtag to your duet video so people can discover your video

Tap “Post” button below to proceed to publish your duet video
