How to Limit Comments on Instagram (5 Simple Steps)

However, not all comments are positive comments. There would be, in some cases unwanted comments that will pop-up in your comments feed you might not so welcome that. Therefore, Instagram has allowed Instagrammers to have control over the limitation of comments you can receive on your post.

Step 1

Open your Instagram app on your smart phone. Tap the three line above your Instagram profile

Step 2

A menu will slide. Tap “Settings”

Step 3

In the Instagram Settings, tap “Notifications.”

Step 4

In the notifications menu, tap “Posts, Stories and Comments.”

Step 5

Choose the limitation for the comments for your post

The options can be “Off”, “People You Follow” or “Everyone.”

You can also undo the settings by disabling back the limitations that you have set here.
