How to Pin Comments on Instagram

Receiving a comment on your Instagram is one of the oldest features you have on Instagram. However, you can further edit the comment that you received on your Instagram post. One of the features Instagram introduced is the ability to pin selected comment you received in your Instagram post. Here we are going to show you simple steps on how you can easily pin a comment on your Instagram account.

WHY PIN COMMENT?

Ther are many reasons why you should pin a comment, here are some of the top reasons:-

  1. TO HIGHLIGHT FAVOURITE COMMENT -If you post received a lot of comment, your favourite comment will be lost among all those comments. If you pin it, the comment will be at the top always regardless of how many comments your post received.
  2. TO HIGHLIGHT GOOD COMMENTS FOR MARKETING PURPOSES– If you post something about your product or services and you received positive testimonial in the comment section, you should pin it so any potential buyer or potential client can see the pinned comment anD make a decision to purchase your product or services.

Step 1

In your Instagram post, Tap at the post that has comments there

Step 2

Browse through the comments seen below your post there

Step 3

Select the post you want to pin, slide your finger to the left at that particular comment.

Step 4

AS YOU swipe to the left on the comment, you will see three buttons shown there. Tap at the pin icon to proceed.

Step 5

A pop-up menu will be shown. Tsp “Pin comment”

Step 6

 The selected comment will then be pin at the top of the comment in your post so everyone can see there.

HOW TO UNPIN COMMENT ON INSTAGRAM

Step 1

Go to the comment that was a pin and swipe your finger to the left. You will see three buttons there. Tap at the pin icon.

Step 2

A pop-up menu will be shown. Tap at “Unpin” to unpin the comment.
