How to Remove Followers on Instagram (3 Simple Steps)

HOW TO REMOVE FOLLOWERS

Step 1

Open your Instagram profile, tap “Followers” to see the list of your Instagram followers

Step 2

Choose the follower that you want to remove by tapping the three-dot icon beside their username

Step 3

A pop-up menu will be shown. Tap “Remove” to proceed

The follower will not be informed that they have been removed

However, if you have set your Instagram account to be public, they can still see your Instagram post and profile

HOW TO BLOCK FOLLOWERS

If you prefer to totally block the follower instead of just removing them, you can do that also on Instagram. Here are the steps.

Step 1

Go to the follower’s profile on Instagram and tap the three-dot button above

Step 2

A pop-up menu will be shown. Tap “Block”

Step 3

A pop-up menu will be displayed. Tap “Block” to proceed

The person you bock will not be notified that you have blocked them

The follower that you block will not be able to find your Instagram profile, posts or stories
