It allows you to send photos or videos to someone on Instagram and once the photos or videos were viewed, it will disappear from the inbox. Unlike Snapchat, not all messages will disappear, it depends on the settings you have set for the messages to either disappear or remain. Here we show you simple steps on how to activate the disappearing settings.

WHY SEND DISAPPEARING PHOTOS OR VIDEOS?

  1. FOR PRIVACY SECURITY – If you are worried about your embarrassing photos or videos of being misused or shared without your consent, it is best that you set it as a disappearing message to your friends on Instagram.
  2. SAVING SPACE USAGE – For someone who does not have a lot of space in their phone, the disappearing photos or videos would help in easing the storage space in their Instagram app and directly the space usage in their phone.

So, if you are interested to learn how to use the disappearing photos or videos function, here are the steps:-

Tap “View Once” if you want the photos or videos to quickly disappear once it was viewed
